I am looking for the differences in morphology of fungi hyphae with different treatments. Can anyone suggest whether it is possible to observe cell death in fungi hyphae using the lactophenol blue dye and light microscope? thanks
Hi Suphamid: Yes you can see the fungal cell is empty compare with live cell.
Dear Suphamid Sriwattanachai,
yes it is possible with comparison of viable and death fungal hyphae. You can used "Fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) microscopy" too.
thanks..... i think i found a difference
cell death of fungi : vacuolation and deformation
i look for some theory on synergy study. is there any difference between combination index approach and fraction inhibitory concentration index approach? for me, it seemed to be similar.
