Sometimes , I feel that the score allocation by RG is not accurate as the scores terribly get down despite the big number of reads and recommendations. We would like to know if there is a way for complaining to the team about the scoring system.
When we registered, Ms. Marwah Al- Rawe, in the RG platform for the first time, we got inflated number of scores, but by time scores are given in portions and each week we lose some of them regardless of the high number of reads and recommendations.
Personally I don't think it will help. They consider their algorithm top secret and challenging their methodology may not help. This is my humble opinion.

But why they consider their algorithm top secret? I think transparency requires that each researcher in this gate know how his score was calculated.
It is not really necessary since one doesn't get "paid" for it. The scores only boost one's ego, and not the quality of one's research nor one's resumé.
I think that we can complain to the RG team about the allocation of scores or accept them in silence,
However, I never complained about the allocation of scores they attribute to me. I
trust on their algorithm to attribute us such scores. For me, the important thing is
learn from others, not to get low or high scores.
