To adopt the concept that you have mentioned in the question, is very difficult. If we have to adopt this concept that means many of us will have to surrender our individuality or at least a part of it. The question, therefore, arises is that who will do it and how many will do it. I remember reading a theory in Political Science. This was called the theory of rights of self determination and it was propounded by an Italian called Mazzini. There are plenty of theories like this. We are living in an era when the word 'individuality' is given more respect than words like 'coordination, 'blending' etc.
Therefore, I doubt that we can ever adopt the concept that you have mentioned.
