We know Spectrum sensing is one of the important components in CR. Is it correct to include the other approaches such as RF propagation models under CR?
I found an interesting article based on the Spectrum Sensing and Geo-location databases. Hope it will help you further broaden your thoughts. The link is given below
Dear Ashams, Thanx for ur valuable answer. But, Spectrum Bridge Corporation works on Spectrum sensing. Could you forward me some materials on the so called 'Senseless' techniques..
While going through the "Senseless" technology, I got to know that, cognitive wireless networks is the basic motivation for the design approach model of white space sensing. Please go through my reference below
A number of factors are considered, which include the propagation model results for the legitimate signals on a band, and also the desired coverage pattern of that signal.
What the article describes is based on computations, to create the database, not on actual measurements.
Now, as to whether this can be classified under CR, I would say that it's one tool used in implementing CR.
