I have a 43 degree peak in Xrd of graphite oxide. In some literatures it is written that it is due to the presence of unreacted graphite
Graphite gives a peak at 43°, OK, but the most intense one is at 26°. Do you have such peak or only one at 43°? Without a peak at 26°, corresponding to the 002, it should not be graphite.
Alain
No I have not got a peak at 26 degree.
Can you please show your data. It will be possible to give you a meaningful answer if we can actually see the diffraction pattern.
Subanta
Can you plz explain the form of your sample ? is it a film or solid or powder?
My sample is in powder form.
is OK
then some thing wrong in the alignment of sample or machine.
If I am not wrong you have used Bruker XRD? If so plz. check your sample with a Philips XRD
