Are there any published reports of immunofluorescence being used to to differentiate mouse strains in an allogeneic transplant system? For example, antibodies against H2b to detect C57BL/6 tissue from a Balb/c (H2d) host? MHC class I antibodies would probably be best, but any other strain-specific molecules that can be used to differentiate strains might work as well. I have found lots of antibodies claiming to detect H2d or H2b, but I'm hesitant to try them, as they need to be very specific for these haplotypes.
