I am using the R function of prop_test (from stats package) to test whether the proportions in k samples (k=5) are identical. However, the documentation does not provide references for the k-sample test. They only provide references for the two-sample test. I would appreciate it if you can share some references on the k-sample z test.

Suppose that you want to test the difference among the five groups at the significance level of 95% (P=p-value: 5%):
if you test all the pairs (the ten possible pairs for your case) by p-value B:
notice B is for comparing all 10 couples and P is for the whole.
1-[(1-B)^10]=P.
This relationship is obtained by using the probability of independent events.
