i need a methodology that someone recommend me that how i can extract and isolate secondary metabolite from adventitious roots through cuttings propagation, not through tissue culture.
Perhaps start here Article Extraction of Plant Secondary Metabolites
but it really depends on the metabolites you are interested in. Perhaps talk to your local metabolomics unit or collaborators for more precise protocols.
Michael Wrzaczek your right sir but my main point is, can i extract that by cuttings propagation mean to say, first i will put cuttings -->then adventitious roots --> from that i will extract the secondary metabolite. is that possible extractions come through cuttings propagations not through tissue culture ?
There are many procedure to extract the secondary metabolites mainly depends on the category of compounds you want extract i.e you want to extract alkaloids , terpenoids etc. The primary method is solvent extraction process(other methods also available ) once its extracted it has be identified. I am not going to the full details here I recommend some of books below may help you to cary out the experiment?
H.N. Nagendra Prasad your right sir recently am finding Rutin metabolite but my main questions can i extract it from adventitious roots through cuttings propagation?
Silit Lazare your right here, when i get the adventitious roots from cuttings then, from that point i will start extraction procedure.can you suggest me which methods is suitable for extraction of secondary metabolite, and you elaborate more this term ( MTBE). please check your inbox.thanks

To decide an appropriate method for extraction and isolation of secondary metabolite, you should consider what kind of compounds you want to get from your sample, e.g., phenolic or flavonoid compounds, or volatile compounds. There are some extraction methods, such as Solvent Extraction, CO2 Extraction, Cold Press Extraction, Water Distillation, etc. Both fresh and dry samples can be used. I think each method has its strength and limitation.
