I liked the topic of islamic banking, however, i'm tilting my choice to be more intechnology sector oyher than financing.

I am basically and engineer and i need this dissertation to serve it :)

Use some novel computer science technique like neural networks etc to forecast stock market or any other financial variable, This will be technology driven

Why not discuss it with your supervisor? He/she gets paid for doing that.

I suggest the following topic;

“Peer-to-peer payment systems and digital or virtual currencies such as bitcoin and consumers’ readiness to use these systems”.

Research topics are decided based on your passion -and discussion with the Supervisor. He/she suggests a relevant topic. Even if undecided, you have to browse the literature first and from there also you can find clues to your topic. You may not have ready literature (combining two areas of research) as you desire, but individually they may be available from which you can decipher how to combine them etc. Every researcher starts with this confusing phase only and ends happily with a Thesis (after lot of hard work!)
