Hello everyone, I am working on the detection and quantification of emerging contaminants in water samples using
Can someone please explain the standard steps involved in identifying and quantifying emerging contaminants using LC-MS? For example, how do we prepare the samples, run the LC-MS, and interpret the data? What are the main challenges one might face in this process?
Which software tools are commonly used for: Processing LC-MS data (such as peak identification, deconvolution, and quantification)? Matching unknown compounds with mass spectral libraries? Statistical analysis and visualization of the results?
As a beginner, which software should I focus on learning first? It would be great if you could suggest software that is either open-source or commonly used in academic research
Depending on the contaminants, TA or NTA, sample preparation and clean-up method and properties of the contaminants. There are a lot of open software, but you have to answer the above questions first. If urgent use, [email protected] for attention and discussion
Thank you sir for your guidance..... I am working on pharmaceuticals (antibiotics, analgesics etc) in Lake water.... Please give your guidance what software I can learn for analysis of LCMS peaks?
