(i) I tried for a delta loop ( triangular antenna) . The design equations were 1005/ freq(MHz) in one article and 284/freq(MHz) in another. I am not sure of which is a correct formula. Anyway, when I tried with the second formula for 2.45GHz, it gave me a total length of 11.63cm which did not yield me the desired value .
(ii) Next , i tried for a large loop antenna with its circumference, C>=0.5 (Lambda). For 2.45GHz, the equation gave me C=30 mm, so each side of the triangle loop being 10mm. On simulating, it shows me a resonance at around 8GHz.
Can somebody clarify this for me?

Thank you all. I tried simulating a delta loop as a strip in the shape of a triangular loop laid on patch. So I thought there could be some workouts that would best describe the transition from wire to its equivalent patch form . If so let me know. Thank you.

For Delta design, wire antenna can be used but the total radiation will be decreased. So one more method, either cut triangular shape (slot) or use of fractal can also be applied to get the proper design.
