(i) I tried for a delta loop ( triangular antenna) . The design equations were 1005/ freq(MHz) in one article and 284/freq(MHz) in another. I am not sure of which is a correct formula. Anyway, when I tried with the second formula for 2.45GHz, it gave me a total length of 11.63cm which did not yield me the desired value .
(ii) Next , i tried for a large loop antenna with its circumference, C>=0.5 (Lambda). For 2.45GHz, the equation gave me C=30 mm, so each side of the triangle loop being 10mm. On simulating, it shows me a resonance at around 8GHz.
Can somebody clarify this for me?
