Do you have assess to a TOC analyzer and a CHN analyzer?

i do my analyses on TOC analyser. but the results are not reliable . they keep varying. also the dilutions of same sample give diffrent final concentrations. I dont know about the CHN analyser.

Did you tried using some standards for TOC.

yes. The standards work fine.. But the EPS doesnot seem to give me consistent results.

yes I am doing it. But its not very consistent too.. the results vary with dilutions. This may be because EPS proteins and carbohydrates forms colloids
