Yes June, I need to plan a cognitive task for some groups that individuals cooperate together within the team to gain a team performance. Then, I'm going to compare the team results.
So you seem to be interested in (holistic or analytic) quality of team performance, .e.g. effectiveness, efficiency, cooperativeness, communicativenes, etc.? Seems to me that both task and scoring will be mutually dependent, unless you reduce both to very elementary processes.
Think for instance of the cognitive task "Analyse, design and construct a software prototype supporting the registration of attendants of a seminar". Nice assignment for students of software engineering.
This is a challenging complex cognitive task, appropriate for students in their third or fourth semester. The team performance needs to be analysed in detail, in advance, so that a adequate scoring system can be set up. Not an easy task in itself!
No software will take this burdon from the cognitive task designer (usually the lecturer, tutor) and the performance assessor (same as or different from the lecturer).
The performance criteria will be split into two broad categories: process criteria (team dynamics) and product criteria (team outcomes). BTW: There are several good books about team performance, see link below.

Paul, June and Ashfique, Thank you very much for your contributions on this question. Paul, I'm focusing on team outcomes as performance. It's not important to me what is going on in the team. I'm simply changing some independent variable that affects individual and team's competitiveness and evaluate their outcomes as a dependent variable. I already find DDD (Aptima) as a software to evaluate team's performance at the competitive situation. Do you have any experience with these kind of software? Do you receive any hint for applying such a software?

Hi Joris, Good question! In this research, we're changing cognitive demand for team members and then all teams engage with the cognitive task, aَfterward,evaluate the team outcomes. Therefore, we are going to evaluate that how the cognitive demand lead teams to performance outcomes.
Say if your are fit, see if it helps. I still wonder what level of detail is needed where and why.
Have you written out all hypothesis, data acquisition, interpretation issues, literature and all?
Say have you written the report as if the results were known, and anticipated on they might be quite different from what you now expect?
I already find the theory, missing gaps, theoretical logic and finalize hypothesis, choose the sample and looking for the software to create and customize scenarios for experimental design. I need a software with a scenario developer through all of the necessary steps to build complex scenarios. It should allows to define environmental variables, create a variety of entities and capabilities, create and assign tasks, and develop and implement performance measures.
I am not a psychologist and would try find one and discuss the details. Because it does not sound like given some fake data you could write the report, so sounds to me like your are too ambitious. But might get you wrong....

Normally, E-Prime is used for cognitive tasks. I know that Python (as a programming language) is also useful since it gives you more flexibility.
