I found a paper on research gate , in which the author has given the citation of my paper. But it does not show in my profile and paper.

I tried this method but not fruitful

I think there may be some delays in RG.

Based on my experience, the citation may appear within 2 or 3 days.

I uploaded my latest article in the previous week. However, all the citations are not appeared on my profile page as we as at the paper page. After three days, I found these all are appeared.

Also, I found that sometimes the numbers of the reads and the recommendations are not same at the Home Feed page and the paper page. Sometimes, the paper page is delayed.

If the references of your paper are missing, this could be an uploading problem, and as suggested before, try to upload the papers again. As to the citations, I suggest that you check Google Scholar to see how many are indexed there. Sometimes the lack of citations is caused by a misspelled name. I suggest that you check this too.

Ensure you upload in PDF. The paper I put on RG in Word format has issues.

Send a feedback mail to RG. They take time but respond.

If you have properly uploaded the paper, the citation would appear on your page after some time, relatively 3-5 days

I upload 41 article, and I upload the full text of them, but when I search in internet, i cant find this article that I upload it.

Did you upload it to RG ? Sometimes it takes time before it is seen on the internet. Try the Google Scholar in few days.

I am facing same problem. I have uploaded an article but the reference section is empty and when I click on it, it shows that the author has not cited any article. I thought it was an uploading problem. Then I removed the article permanently from RG and re-uploaded the article. But nothing worked. I did it six time but the result was same. I also uploaded references separately as pdf file but it went in vain. Could you please suggest me any idea?

The references will appear within 2 to 3 working days and the citation may appear within 4 or 5 working days. Based on my experience.

I absolutely agree with you. From my past experience, I want to share with you that RG may take some time (2-5 days) for auto-generating the references. I uploaded the article yesterday and found no references. However, today I got notification of my citations and the references were auto-generated if they are available in the RG. So, I can suggest to wait for 2-5 days in this situation.

I think it takes some time to prepare. I have also additional problem that RG cannot generate my citations in other publications.

I uploaded an article now and it doesn't appear in my public profile. Maybe a kind of delay of the website.

The citing article should also be uploaded in RG to generate citations of your paper...
