Hello there!

I'm looking at a mediation model with 2 predictors, 2 mediators and 3 outcomes. My full sample size is 558, but one of those outcomes only has data for 410 participants. So when I specify my model using SEM in lavaan, only the data of those 410 participants is used. For all the paths that don't concern this outcome, could I use the full sample size?

My idea was creating two models, one with the two 558-outcomes and one with the 410-outcome. Then use path coefficients of the 558-model for all paths except the paths that concern the 410-outcome.

It is especially of interest, beause two indirect effects are significant within the full sample size, but not when using only the 410 participants.

And if the combination is possible, do I report the model fit of the fully specified 410 model? Because for the two "smaller" models, I don't have a model fit (they are just identified).

I'd love some quick feedback if anyone knows what to do in this case - because my deadline is sadly coming up soon..
