Can rhizobium leguminosarum strains show a difference in affinity for different genotypes of the same species of leguminous?
I am searching for scientifics papers or books which proves this theory please, if someone can help me, I'll be thankfull.

Yes quite possible. This theory came into existence long back called cross inoculation groups having symbiotic promiscuity . Now with the revelations baded functional genomics , such concept needs thorough revisiting with these
new possibilities...
