Hi, as pBR322 is one of the oldest plasmids used. Can pBR322 be used in the construction of a yeast plasmid or can a vector having pBR322 ORI and BOM be assembled in yeast?
Thank you for the answers.
Hi there,
Plasmid stability in yeast S. cerevisiae requires either of the 3 following replication origins: ARS, CEN or 2µ.
Thank you for your kind reply,
