Interestingly, I did a paper on this in my senior year of college in 1969 and a survey of the then scant literature of the time did show a marked increase in aberrant behaviors (such as reckless driving, lowered sociomoral reasoning, and juvenile delinquency) in music that was brash, rebellious, and had a hard, driving beat. Conversely, music with higher ordered harmony and counterpoint inspired the opposite behaviors.
