Can Mowiol medium work with fluoro-gold?

At the website of fluorochrome, it suggest to use neutral buffered glycerine. Does it mean any PH=7 glycerol mounting media is OK to work with FLUORO-GOLD? I normally use homemade Mowiol. Anyone ever tried whether this medium is OK to use? THANKS!
