misc_RNA is actually a term used for Annotating transcripts.

Now, if you have a sequence which has been predicted/annotated as misc_RNA then the sequence contains features which enables computer programs to identify it as an RNA but only predict its molecular nature and not its complete function.
As you can see from the link above that it may refer to primary transcripts or mRNAs; hence in such cases there may be protein products.
The best way to find out is to submit such sequences in a suitable ORF detection tool (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/orffinder/) and check.
