I've been doing some immunoblots for phosphoP53 using samples extracted with UTB buffer, but in the revelation I keep getting multiple bands, including the expected band at 53kDa. My supervisor said that the extraction buffer could be the problem, since she used to do it only with RIPA buffer. Any thoughts?
