0.1% Triton X should work for this purpose.

I wonder why do you want to use Triton X in place of Tween -20 which is fairly cheap. You buy one bottle and can use it for ages.

Thank you Mana. I already tried 0.1% Triton X, but its not effective. I guess I will have to increase the concentration. And I wanted to use Triton X in place of Tween -20 because I already had a bottle of Triton X lying around in lab and not being used :) .

When I used Triton X instead of Tween, it washed all of my proteins off.

I didn't see any difference when I used Triton X-100 instead of Tween-20.
