Can I use MMR vaccine as positive control in Rubella virus detection using PCR?

Good day,

I am working on the molecular detection of Rubella virus. For the positive control I tried extracting RNA from the MMR vaccine(Tresivac). I have not seen any RNA after extraction. Its a attenuated form, Since RNA is sensitive could it be that the vaccine don't have RNA anymore?

Its live vaccine so you can extract RNA easily. Just see your extraction kit is working or not.
