Can I use Lipschtiz (Hoelder) exponent and intensity factor in the DWT?

I wish to use the intensity factor to quantify the damage in the DWT analysis. But I have seen in the literature that others were used in CWT analysis. So my doubt is whether I can use intensity factor or Lipschitz (Hoelder) exponent in the discrete wavelet transform (DWT).
