You mean Real-time PCR？ Yes you can,the volume decrease is equal to all the genes
Yes you can by minimizing the quantities of all component in appropriate proportions, we use it for SSR markers
It depends, if you are doing PCR only for analysis then u can use 10ul. just u have to take care of final concentration of components of master mix.
Yes you can. You just have to adujst the volume of each component to get the good concentration.
As you can see, it is possible. We do it to save money in our lab too.
Can I just add a word of warning though- your pipetting errors will be more of a problem the smaller your final volume is. Keep an eye on the tightness of your replicates otherwise reducing the volume may be a false economy.
