mix the blood in tube by repeated inversion, leave the blood sample undisturbed on a bench and away from sunlight, blood will separate after 2 hours into plasma, buffy coat (may not be noticeable) and rbc. Gently Aspirate the plasma using pipette and keep sample frozen or refrigerated if not required for analysis immediately.
