use Millipore  0.2 micron  or (sitz filter) so as to not alter the volatile components in the Diesel. Since the diesel fuel may attack the filtration material, try to use the most resistant material like teflon based, or if you can find the porcelain Sitz filters , even better.

I have to sterilize lots of diesel. I am thinking of sterilizing it using autoclave. Will something violent happen if I heat it inside an autoclave like explosion or something?

Hi Remi, thanks for your answer. I also thought of doing that. But from what I've read, if my interpretation is right, irradiation would not completely sterilize the bottom part of the medium.
