I'm working a research to assess the prevalence the contamination of non-sterile pharmaceuticals (NSPs) with antibiotic resistance bacteria and alternative microorganisms. Different samples of oral and topical NSP products were collected randomly from different drug houses and private pharmacies in Iraq.
My question is: Can I mention the names of the manufacturer companies (more than 50) in my research without taking permission? Or I have to investigate to the products without mentioning the manufacturer sources?

I think we can mention the brand names of any of the product available in the pharmaceutical market. I have done a review article on biotechnological pharmaceutical products available in the current pharmaceutical market. In that i have used the brand name. I think it is permitted to use because there are no rules regarding the use of the name of a pharmaceutical product which is already existing in the market.

Surely you can mention the compamywith no need to get permission. it will help if someone want to use the same company you used.
Best practice is to reference them, but I will take it a step further and send a generic email to all of the companies you wish to use, asking for their permission and if they don't respond at least you would have done your best to consult with them. The ones who permit you to mention them you clearly have an affirmative response. If they do not grant you permission at least you know. You could tabulate the responses and add to your results in appendix also if necessary as evidence.

I still talk with the company-technical service to double check as to what I am saying labeled information or facts or research. it is also good to share your publications with the company if you are using their product.you may get funding or speaking opportunities
