as far as I'm concerned, graphene oxide(GO) is usually utilized for metal coating.

if we suppose that iron precursor such as iron chloride is coated on reduced graphene oxide during which GO is reduced with a reducing agent like hydrazine and metal precursor is oxidaized, what mechanism can explain that?

I'm very confused which one of both chemical and physical adsorptions induce that reaction

please, I need your help to understand the mechanism.
