I am going to do immunofluorescence from my cultured HUVEC. Before doing IF test i need to treat my cells with my test serum sample for 6 hours. I don't have chamber slide for this. So I am in dire need to know how can i proceed using cover slip/ glass slide?
Grow your cells in 24 well plates with glass round coverslip in it (48 well might work too) . I would suggest coating the coverslip.
The coverslip can be taken out and stained (and washed) easily.
Yes, It is possible. Seed you cells on sterile coverslip in 6 well plate. After you treatment, perform all the steps (Fix, stain & wash) in 6 well plate and take out the cover slip before mounting. I have done this process earlier and worked very well.

Problem is that i don't have enough serum to treat cells in 6 or 24 well plate (considering media: serum dilution), so can i use glass slide instead ? @Vinay Sagar, @Esther
