Yes, you can just put the leaves in a conical or 1.5ml tube and drop the tube in the liquid nitrogen.

Make sure you either use paper labels INSIDE the tube or a label that is guaranteed to not come off in liquid nitrogen (don't want to learn that lesson the hard way).
