I want to run some soft-lithography treatment and looking for a photoresist. SU8 seems to be very good but the price offered by MicroChem is so expensive (upto > $500/ 500ml bottle). Can we buy it elsewhere at cheaper price?
SU8 won't be cheap - I know that there was a supplier in Switzerland, Sotec microsystems around the year 2000, but as far as I know, there went into a business failure. Checking this out, I found a second swiss supplier: http://www.gersteltec.ch/

What properties are you specifically looking for? There may well be a suitable alternative for your application that is more affordable.
In my opinion SU-8 is reasonably value given the wide range of applications, versatility and robust nature. You can also dilute thicker solutions fairly easily.
