I am developing a formulation for drug delivery application which is involving heating in the presence of water. I have some doubt please make me clear.

1- Can heating of drug in water molecules change any property like crytalization, hydrolysis etc of the drug. if yes please give me ans with reference.

2- Can heating led to change in drug molecules in future upon storage
