Hi all, I have two questions regarding Cyclo(RGDyK):
Can Cyclo(RGDyK) be used as a functional inhibitor of the vitronectin receptor (αVβ5)?
Since Cyclo(RGDyK) can be dissolved in either water or DMSO, and DMSO is highly toxic, is it feasible to use water as the solvent for in vivo administration in mice?
Theoretically, Cyclo(RGDyK) is an active inhibitor of αVβ5 and can affect its function.
The product exhibits excellent solubility in water. For animal experiments, it is recommended to prioritize dissolving it in pure water to prepare stock solutions, which should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C or -80°C. When needed, the stock solution should be diluted with saline or PBS for administration, and the working solution should be freshly prepared for use.
