The COVID-19 created new paradigms for living in society and made us hostage to ourselves. In science, most laboratories are empty and with researchers frightened by the contamination by COVID-19. Doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other health professionals are exposing themselves and fighting for patients. So my point is: how can COVID-19 change science paradigms? In my research group we are closed in our cocoons trying to finalize articles and thinking new projects. But international collaboration is increasingly the basic pillar of our science. How to overcome this challenge with so many barriers that seem insurmountable at the moment? What is your opinion about this?
