You could also be more specific. Pesticide use risk is a function of chemical hazard and application risk, amongst other things. Chemical hazard can be related to environmental impact quotient (EIQ) and can be calculated on an active ingredient per hectare basis. Application risk is related to socio-economic factors such as worker education, equipment use, deployment of personal proective equipment and as such is more difficult to model.
