Actually i am working with forest plant species for genetic diversity detection with SSR marker. I have some difficulties during the feeding and interpretation of my data with the help of software so anyone suggest me what should i do?
Hi Sonu, Are you asking how to create an input file of SSR data for Arlequin? if yes, then I think it is very simple if you have your data on GenAlex software. I recommend you to check out and download the free software GenAlex on http://biology-assets.anu.edu.au/GenAlEx/Download.html
inputting your data into GenAlex is pretty simple. and with everything in place, you can directly export your data to an Arlequin format, as well as to several other formats for other software programs. GenAlex should be were you start because it is user friendly as it operates on MS Excel, and has a nice and easy-to-use manual.. From GenAlex you can export your data to more than 20 other formats of different programs.
You can try Transformer-4 free in DEMIURGE (from http://www.demiurge-project.org/about): it permits to type data in Excel and permit expor to multiple formats.
