I crushed plant leaf samples in Liquid nitrogen and i want to send these on another place, it will take 3-4 days , so i want to ask that is there any method that reached my samples in powder form without any degradation of DNA?
Can you vacuum dry them while frozen?
Otherwise you might transport them with solid CO2, but they may dehydrate to some extent.
After crushing in Liq N2, transfer to a 50 mL polypropylene screw cap centrifuge tube and pack in dry ice. Should be fine for DNA.
Dear McKendree , thanks for your comment. But i want to know about its storage period ,means for how many days, is it reported anywhere before?
