"Cofactor Biosynthesis: A Mechanistic Perspective, Volume 61 (Vitamins and Hormones)"
I agree that Berg, Tymoczko and Stryer is helpful on this topic, but Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism with Clinical Applications, 2nd edition, by Maria C. Linder, 1991 would be the my choice.
My personal choice is the textbook written by David E Metzler (Iowa state university). It is called Biochemistry - The Chemical Reactions of Living Cells. As expected from this title, many chemical aspects are covered in depth and this is not restricted to human metabolism.
