I'd like to know how much differences exist between mice and human. I found in this paper (Dethlefsen, L., et al. (2008) The pervasive effects of an antibiotic on the human gut microbiota, as revealed by deep 16S rRNA sequencing. PLoS biology 6, e280) that human harbours around 5000 bacterial taxa. I'd like to know the number in mice and I'd appreciate if any of you can share a paper with me on this subject?

Thank you very much.
