I got XPS from my samples (grapheme oxide) and I want to analyze them. I downloaded CASA but I think it does not split the peaks correctly. Any one has SDP(spectral data processor) software.
Depends on the theoretical approach You are employing for XPS peak fitting. Software is doing what You are telling to it....If CASA is too complicated, try A-Analyzer, it is simple and powerful.
I use XPSPEAK4.1 http://www.uksaf.org/software.html#1
(I'm not sure what you mean by the software not splitting the peaks correctly; that is something you should be doing...)
In XPSPEAK you can either let the software fit S-O peaks (p,d,f...) based on an SOS parameter that you input, or you can manually fit the two S-O components using the proper constraints.
Funny post this one. "It did not split the peaks correctly" suggests an inherent belief that software should be magic and do all the work for you, including setting things up immediately to be correct. All this just after downloading. Wow!
CASA is a well-respected, broadly-used, extremely powerful software application for XPS analysis.
I might bluntly suggest that "it" in your ending sentence is not the software itself but your inexperience with using "it" (the software) for the system you are studying.
Sara, unfortunately even if the title of this page is "FREE SOFTWARE FOR XPS INTERPRETATION", this page lists two expensive softwares : XPST (which needs Igor, not free) and CasaXPS (academic single user 830€; site 2490€)
