Did anyone use Mag Flu4 to monitor intracellular Ca++ changes? Does that work?

The dye has a better affinity to bind Mg++ and people use this to track Mg++ changes. The company (LifeSciences) claims that the dye also binds Ca++ with lower efficiency. I'd like to know if it worths trying this dye to track Ca++ transients. We got it accidentally but I'd still use it if it works with Ca++. Does anyone have experience with it?
