You can check the Web of Science or Scopus databases, use the function arrange according to the number of citations, and other functions to find answers to your question.
The major problem of Web of Science database is that we were very far from the truth stating that it contains all well-referred papers. For example, the proceedings of conferences what the participants are obtaining on the conference, are very important in engineering, but are completely missing from the database.
