Hi Charlie

I have come across the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale (WEMWBS) [http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/med/research/platform/wemwbs/researchers/uses/] but I am not sure whether this has been used/validated previously on clinicians.  Either way, it might be a useful one to look at, and crucially it is relatively short at 7 or 14 item scales.

Thanks for your reply.  Previously a colleague of mine (Peter Kevern) has used WEMWBS to analyse patient well-being as a result of seen a 'Chaplain for Wellbeing' (similar to healthcare chaplain) see: https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/primary-health-care-research-and-development/article/chaplains-for-well-being-in-primary-care-analysis-of-the-results-of-a-retrospective-study/89E253EB9DB13D75A4939A75401663F7.

We subsequently used WEMWBS as a supportive tool to assess the well-being of chaplains themselves, but in this instance only had a sample of 5, so we could not do any meaningful quantitative analysis.  However, it was useful for our purposes.

Thanks Adam - I'll take a look. I'm having difficulty accessing the actual paper but the powerpoint looks fascinating. I didn't know there was such a thing as primary care chaplains! Sounds like a great idea.
