Our samples and some reagents are severely contaminated with mycoplasma. We have to throw them away. Besides this, we have to ensure the laboratory space, equipment are also decontaminated from mycoplasma.
Can anyone suggest me some guidelines or routine protocols how can we ensure decontamination of laboratory area from mycoplasma?
Also, about the routine maintenance to prevent mycoplasma contamination.
There are also some sprays available like: Alconox, LookOut® Mycoplasma Erase, Mycoplasma-ExS Spray, Mycozap etc. Do these work effectively against mycoplasma disinfection?
