Every search on metal semiconductor contacts in internet redirects to metal semiconductor contact types (ohmic/Schottky) and their characteristics. I am trying to get some useful materials on possible geometries of contacts for electrical characterization. For example, two points, for points linear/Van der Pauw, Interdigitated, MIM, Corbino etc. Materials that deal with geometrical structures of contacts, their fabrication and problems are appreciated.

It will solely depend on the thin film on which you are depositing the metal for contacts. (dependency of the work-function variation between metal and semiconductor)

Nope!. As google, you understood the same thing. I am interested in geometries, shape of contacts rather than metals and work functions. Whatever is the film material, you need contact. Which contact structure you prefer with what experiment? More clearely as an example, For hall measurement, you need 4 point contacts. For ideal hall measurement, the contacts should be on the edge covering the thickness of the sample. But this is near to impossible. so people use 4 contacts on surface.
My question is possible contact structures for different measurement techniques. There must be enough researches on this. For what experiment, which sample geometry and what contact pattern is suitable?
It all depends on what parameter you want to measure and how it is changing with contacts for e.g for high resistivity measurement people prefer two probe and for low resistivity four probe method is preferred for more details please refer following handbook............
