These brown blow flies were collected on a citrus farm in Mooinooi, North West province, South Africa (March 2022). We suspect it may be Cordylobia anthropophaga (the mango fly).
Exact, I agree that it is difficult to tell from their provided photographs, because we need to knowing more about their morphology such as the length and width of body, also the shape of ovipositor and some other organs. I doubt these brown blow flies are similar to an insect pest of honey bees, and citrus trees are the only hosts for adults
