I have only small piece of membrane and i have to run 2 sets of experiment but i have a membrane for only one experiment so if it is reusable than may be i can run my 2nd experiment as well. if any one know about it kindly guide me.
Dear Kamran,
You can reuse it after an appropriate cleaning. The cleaning procedure is as follows:
1- Washing in boiling 3% H2O2 for 1 hour.
2-Rinsing in boiling distilled water for 1 hour.
3-Boiling in 1M H2SO4 for 1 hour.
4-Rinsing several times in boiling water.
5-Drying at 80 degree Celsius for 12 hours.
