We are observing a very steady low frequency oscillations in the semg during isometric contraction. Anyone can recommend some reading associated with this?
It is not perfectly clear the meaning of "low frequency oscillations": at about what frequency do you observe these oscillations? If the frequency is very low (below 0.2-0.5 Hz) the phenomenon is due to electrode polarization. If it apperas at 50-60 Hz, it depends on voltage interference from the power supply. Intermediate frequencies can be due to DC supply oscillation (as also Nemuel Pahanswered from the university of Surabaya.
Thanks- but the frequency of this oscillation is not due to noise and instruments- the frequency is in the range of 10 Hz. And, this seems to be present even if I use different equipment.
