Prepare nanocapsules looks like very easy reading papers. But, most of time you need somebody to teach you. You have to choose from different tensoatives and your oil. Normally, you can use PVA or Tween 80 as tensoactivs for the aqueous phase.
In this paper that you are showing, I think that they are using too much polymer for a final volume of 20 mL in my opinion. Probably, it will be very easy to obtain microparticles.
If you want, you can use the same protocol and materials that I used eith the exception of the drug. Probably, it will work. Don't forget to add the organic phase to the aqueous phase slowly.
This nanoprecipitation techniques is otherwise called as solvent displacement method introduced by fessi et al. In this method we have to prepare two different phases . first one organic phase second one aqueous phase . organic phase consist drug and polymer should dissolved in water miscible solvent like methanol , acetone , DMSO etc. and aqueous phase consist of stabilizer ( water soluble ).generally mechanical stirrer/ sonicator / magnetic stirrer can be used for nanocapsule preparation. the organic phase were taken in syringe attached with 26" gauge needle add drop by drop into aqeous phase under stirring condition with specific RPM. while selecting a water miscible solvent should consider boiling point . in case you have used high boiling point solvent use rotary flash evaoprator otherwise magnetic stirrer for evoaprate the solvent.. The another important thing is organic phase and aqueous ratio, needle diameter ,etc..the organic phase is slowly diffused into aq.phase it form a precipitation.literally it is identified by blue colour opalescence of solution due to tyndall effect.i hope this information would help you for preparation of nanocapsule .
